Marielle Ignacio DeTorres

Marielle Ignacio is a Catholic Filipina, recently a new wife & mother. Her writing revolves around how to navigate life, faith, and relationships. She believes that poetry is a good way to find inner healing by finding beauty in daily life and in every experience, including heartbreak and endings.

She graduated with a degree in Business Administration from University of the Philippines Diliman. A marketer by profession, she is experienced in corporate brand management, new product innovations, e-commerce, and marketing capability building with various companies in Manila.

She started writing poetry in 2012 to capture personal reflections and shared stories within her community. Almost Sunset is her first book.
